"What is Your Self-Worth?" book release party.

Last night at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood (also known as 'that big blue building), philanthropist Cheryl Saban PhD. celebrated her first book, "What is Your Self-Worth?" with a release party.

The host of the evening? Sherry Lansing former CEO of Paramount Pictures. Yes, this is much higher caliber of party than we normally get invited to...no offense Archibald Cox Jr...Anyway, we were trying to get a picture with Lansing and she did this very impressive pivot and turn and instantly ended up on the other end of the room from us. Like magic. This was no small room. Impressive. So then we decided to harass Arianna Huffington, because well...we figure us bloggers have to stick together. Or at least say hi. Ahem.

The most shocking sighting all night was Gray Davis - former governor of California - recalled by the Terminator - Gray Davis. We actually blurted out loud, "Woah?!" When we saw him. His wife is somehow connected to Cheryl Saban, the author of the evening. Gray Davis, what a tragic political figure - he's like Richard Nixon after he was VP for two terms, after he lost a presidential AND a gubernatorial bid - when there was all the bitter and list-making with none of the power to be the Nixonian crook we've all grown to love. Poor, Davis. We've had some bad nights and even been booed off stage - but not on that big of scale. Eep.
